Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BridgeBanks360 ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

BridgeBanks360 is a personal finance management platform that provides:

• Bank statement upload and analysis
• Automated transaction categorization
• Expense tracking and budgeting tools
• Financial insights and analytics
• Optional Gmail integration for automatic transaction extraction
• Portfolio and investment tracking
• Loan and insurance management

3. Eligibility

To use BridgeBanks360, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Account Creation

• You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• One person or legal entity may maintain only one account

4.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Do not share your password with anyone
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account

5. Gmail Integration

5.1 Optional Feature

Gmail integration is an optional feature that allows BridgeBanks360 to:

• Access your Gmail account with your explicit consent
• Read emails from financial institutions
• Extract transaction information from email statements
• Automatically categorize and import transactions

5.2 User Consent and Control

• Gmail integration requires your explicit authorization through Google OAuth 2.0
• We only request read-only access to your Gmail (gmail.readonly scope)
• You can disconnect Gmail access at any time from your profile settings
• Disconnecting Gmail will not delete previously imported transactions
• We comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy

5.3 Email Scanning

• We scan only emails from known financial institutions
• We do not read personal correspondence or non-financial emails
• Scanning occurs automatically at scheduled intervals (default: every 15 minutes)
• You can pause or disable email scanning from your settings

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Accurate Information

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete financial information
• Upload only your own bank statements and financial documents
• Review and verify automatically categorized transactions
• Update your information as needed to maintain accuracy

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person
• Upload false or misleading information
• Use the Service to track another person's finances without authorization

7. Data and Privacy

7.1 Data Ownership

• You retain ownership of all financial data you upload or provide
• We do not claim ownership of your transaction data or bank statements
• You grant us a license to process your data to provide the Service

7.2 Privacy

• Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy
• By using the Service, you consent to our Privacy Policy
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data

7.3 Data Accuracy

• We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in transaction categorization
• Automated categorization is provided as a convenience tool
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all financial data
• You should not rely solely on our Service for tax or financial reporting purposes

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Rights

• All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by BridgeBanks360
• Our trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property
• You may not use our intellectual property without written permission

8.2 User-Generated Content

• You retain rights to any content you upload (bank statements, notes, etc.)
• You grant us a license to store, process, and display your content to provide the Service
• You represent that you have the right to upload any content you provide

9. Fees and Payment

9.1 Free Service

BridgeBanks360 is currently provided free of charge (₹0). We reserve the right to:

• Introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future
• Provide advance notice of any fee changes
• Offer premium features at additional cost

9.2 Future Pricing

• If we introduce fees, existing users will receive at least 30 days notice
• You may choose to discontinue using the Service if you do not agree to future fees

10. Service Availability and Modifications

10.1 Availability

• We strive to provide continuous service availability
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• We are not liable for service interruptions or downtime

10.2 Modifications

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
• We may update these Terms at any time
• Material changes will be communicated via email or Service notification
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

• BridgeBanks360 is a tool for tracking and organizing financial information
• We do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice
• Insights and recommendations are for informational purposes only
• You should consult with qualified professionals for financial decisions
• We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on our Service

11.3 Limitation of Liability

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BridgeBanks360, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

13. Third-Party Services

• Our Service integrates with third-party services (Google Gmail API, Google Cloud Platform)
• These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies
• We are not responsible for third-party services or their practices
• Your use of third-party services is at your own risk

14. Termination

14.1 By You

• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings
• Account deletion will remove your personal data within 30 days
• Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• We are required to do so by law
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period
• We discontinue the Service

14.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases
• We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Provisions that should survive termination (e.g., liability limitations) will remain in effect

15. Export Control

You agree to comply with all applicable export and import control laws and regulations. You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from receiving products, services, or software from your country of residence or by U.S. law.

16. Dispute Resolution

16.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at admin@bridgebanks360.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

16.2 Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties.

16.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Mumbai, India.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BridgeBanks360 regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.

20. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

21. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
